Love the Design began in 2005 as a small art and design studio in Toronto.
The first retail store opened in Leslieville in 2011 followed by a second in Summerhill - born from a desire to showcase original artwork in a setting that felt like home. It was a space where vintage pieces and mixed media art could live side by side, each bringing out the beauty in the other. But creativity is rarely linear, and Christine’s passion for styling, interiors, and design never faded. Over the years, that creative pull found its way into design commissions for restaurants, hotels, and thoughtfully curated spaces like Bar Duchess, Russ & Co., and Friday’s in Prince Edward County.

 

Now, more than a decade later, Love the Design has re-opened its doors at 181 Picton Main Street. The new space is a curated blend of found objects, vintage treasures, limited edition prints, and Christine’s signature mixed media works - each piece chosen or created to feel timeless, personal, and lived in.
